How to Book a Yacht Charter in Bali: Deposit, Payment & What Happens Next

Booking a private yacht sounds like it should involve a broker, a contract, and a week of emails. Ours takes about five minutes. Here's the entire process, including the parts people usually have to ask about — deposits, refunds, and what happens if the weather turns.
Step 1: Pick the trip and date
Choose from our nine trip formats — or start with the two most common decisions: half day vs full day and which sunset trip fits your evening. Every charter is private; the date you book is yours alone.
You can book directly on the site or message us on WhatsApp — both reach the same calendar, and WhatsApp replies usually come within minutes.
Step 2: Secure it with a 30% deposit
A 30% deposit locks your date; the balance is due on the day of the charter. We accept major credit cards, Indonesian bank transfer, and PayPal. Once the deposit lands you get a confirmation with the trip details, meeting point, and crew contact.
Step 3: Tell us what the day is for
This is the step that upgrades a good charter into the right one. A proposal needs a discreet crew; a birthday might want decor and a cake run; a fishing trip changes the departure time. Add-ons — private chef, photographer, drone videographer, decor and flowers — are all arranged at this stage, not scrambled on the day.
Step 4: The days before sailing
We confirm your hotel pickup time the day before (available from Sanur, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Canggu, and Ubud). The captain watches the marine forecast; if conditions look marginal he may suggest shifting the route or the start time — you'll never find out about weather at the dock.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book?
A few days is usually enough outside peak season. For July, August, and the Christmas–New Year weeks, book several weeks ahead — one boat, one group per day means peak dates go first.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit cards, Indonesian bank transfer, and PayPal. The 30% deposit is paid at booking; the balance is settled on the day of the charter.
Can we change the date after booking?
Yes — contact us and we'll move your deposit to any available date. Weather-related changes initiated by us are always free.
Do we need to sign anything or bring documents?
Just bring ID for the group. Insurance is included in every charter, and the booking confirmation covers the terms — there's no separate contract to print.
